What do you guys think?

Since the KoRx server is largely unpopulated, what other server would accept user-created maps easily?

pretty sure it's ded. Thought, we COULD start mapping for source games, and make some trem/granger related maps for tf2 and stuff. I think that would be pretty bause.

The only problem is that I have no idea what kind of a server would accept those maps, or how to map in source. Tremulous mapping: is it dead? 3316320992

I would like to say that you guys should move this clan to a game like counter strike, cause its a very active game that hasn't gone away for over a decade. Either that or tf2, either of which I play quite often, and its not that hard to host a server for either of those games, and if we can make them full enough, often enough, then they will become very popular.

I can head the tf2 or cs division if you want, I am a boss with sniping in tf2, (record is over 22 kills in a single life, on a full server mind you) and ok in cs.

Gah, I guess I'll have to suck it up and branch out.

We should stick to free games, since alot of kids don't have money to burn.

Team fortress 2 is a fun game but it lacks the camaraderie that tremulous creates with base defense/building.

Guess we can be an Engineer-only clan <--- ha

Team fortress 2 maps would be cool, I'll try putting up a server for shits and giggles.

Edit: Having problems setting it up, gotta set up port forwards when noone is using the internet

Well, you should probably work on a minecraft server as well (Can I recommend the tekkit mod?). I am assuming that the clan ranks will transfer right? (I am only asking because I am good at using admin powers on both minecraft and tf2, I can come up with more games later if you want...)

Minecraft could be a possibility, but I don't trust Mojang ( let alone anything online ) with my credit card.

If there was someway of getting it using cash I'd be all for it.

TF2 seems like the best way to go at this point because it is free and map/models can be made for it.

Of course the ranks will transfer, I forgot about the ranking system.

Maybe I'll fix it a bit.

Actually, if you really want, give someone 25 bucks and have them buy a gift certificate for you.

I ment like give your brother (or someone you trust) $25 and say buy this for me. Or you could do a prepaid card, that would also work

Engie-only clan would be hilarious.

We should all play a game together sometime. I need an excuse to play counter strike source, i bought that game and have since only used it for garry's mod. Good deal, but still.

Also tf2 is a little like trem. It's definitely not the same, but it does have it's fair share of awesome modifications.

So far my best score in it is like 94. But I cheated a bit to get there... The most kills I've gotten in one like was around 12 with engie. Though I prefer other classes. Plus engie can be a lil op if you just put your sentry in a good spot and the other team doesn't like to play spy for some reason. I think I got around 9 kills with out dieing as a spy once though. That was fun.

If we plan a game will it be MvM or regular?

We could do either really. MvM is fun, there are plenty of other game modes, each with their own styles of playing.

Asking mvm or tf2 is like asking mvm or surf, death run, death match, capture points, capture the flag, all dat jazz. There's tons of stuff. No need to limit the possibilities.

True, a mix would be good.

If only I could get the server to run correctly. I've honestly tried for hours yesterday but to no avail.
