SERVER UPDATE, SERVER UPDATE

Ok, after the non-compliance of linux with my computer, I have decided to build a server box with my friend (this will be a box, with a motherboard, battery, ram, processor, memory, and ubuntu). When done, I will post pictures for all of you to marvel at the size of our server
Parts list: Motherboard: don't have
Memory: have
Batter: nope
Ram: nope
Processor: nope
ubuntu: yup

would this computer be made for ONLY trem server use?

I got about a 2.5 mb upload rate, and I will put a hacked version of windows xp on, and then put ubuntu on...the ubuntu will be what our server runs on

and no, its will be like a 1' by 1' by 1' cube of galvanized steel, painted like a rubics cube

I can set up a mock dedicated server, for maybe an hour at a time, but until I build the computer, ETA ranging from 1 week - 1 month, the server will not be up ALL the time

I know it takes time to get parts. I also know it's expensive. So take your time. I don't mind at all.
All that I was saying was just that it's nice to have several alternatives to waiting. One being that glam made a server. (The other being that almost the entire clan plays on korx)

A month is fine. I don't want our server to die.

haha, yeah... my friend is currently working on getting the galvanized steal, while I am looking at how to take the memory out of 2 ipods and use that instead of getting memory (total of 50 gbs if it works)

It's been a bit but I know have the steel and the motherboard, need to salvage my old ipod for the memory
