I can make a server at my house, i think i'll make it KoRx and we will use the 3.1 version for extra shotty spammage!

any thoughts on this?

If you look at the most recent changelog (http://pastebin.com/udNfpFL9) it seems they put the shotty nade speed back to the 3.1 time. So that shouldn't be an issue anymore. Just the xael now.

Why KoRx though? We are called GBA- Grangers Bouncing Around. Not KoRx GBA, or w/e. If we can host regular 1.2 or 1.1 tremulous server, we would attract more players. Just look at it, those (><) and other clans don't even go to KoRx, some think it's gay but I don't! Think about it

Oh and Glameow, that post you made on my application, I have a boyfriend, So I really don't care xD

The question is: Do we want a popular public server? Or do we want a clanserver with our favourite mod?

Though I see your point, KoRx does add more features, and a lot of the higher-ups here seem to play there a lot, and are used to the game with the KoRx mod. It changes a lot from vanilla 1.1.

all I play is KoRx.

so if you guys want to set up a vanilla server (or any other server) yourself, then go for it.

but any and all servers that wish to use the tag |GBA| in it's name/server message must go through me and bor.

KoRx is the recommended server type for this clan.

I think bor would agree, as any other server just doesn't seem as fun.

I have experience with Pbot servers, so any of those would be fine.

I am quite fond of kicking mindless bot ass!

3.1 had retribution screwed up. The person loses the creds/evos, and the other person didn't get them.

Yeah keep the korx mod i agree with glam korx is great everything else is lacking in the fun department(for me anyways). We already have a bunch of people wanting to join so there's no need to venture out to other servers most of us don't play.

Oh, another thing is i did enjoy the !bank, and to a lesser extent, !rtd commands on the one letter servers. Specifically A.

!bank lets you deposit evos/credits to withdraw during another round. It only work AFTER the 10min mark.

!rtd gives yo a random power-up for a certain amount of time, or until you die. (invisibility, flight, god mode, etc)

No.
Not at all.
!rtd was cheap as hell.
!bank too.
Never, will I EVER go on another server that has !rtd and !bank.

these are the mods i recommend:

KoRx <--- need i say more?

House of Nuts <--- idk what mod it had but !anvil was loads of fun >:D

pbot <--- used to host one myself

These are the mods I do NOT recommend:

X <--- omfg if I see an X server with the GBA name, i swear i will kill someone

A <--- I can tolerate this server, but godmode gets really fucking annoying

there are more mods but these are the ones that stick out.

it's a nice command that you have to pay 100 "bonus nuts" for.

bonus nuts is cash given to frequent players of the server, and are used to buy certain commands

!anvil <--drops a reactor on a player of your choice....killing that player > (I've killed bor a few times with it XD)

!bubble <-- used on yourself to make bubble pop all around you during a game

!pot <-- plant a pot a spewing acid anywhere you choose... mainly used to drop FPS in bases
