Admin Training
Activities on the server to help people become better admins. Post any you think of. I'll keep a list up here.
Spot the Aimbot -DucTape
The Idea- Have one or two people, chosen by Bor or Glame or something, use an aimbot. The objective is to figure out who is aimbotting.
Why- Help recognize aimbots vs good shooters.

There's a problem with that. And to show it I shall tell a story...
One upon a time (about a month ago) The Hovel Humper went on a quest, his quest was to find a working aimbot in the shortest amount of time. After about half an hour he came back to KorX and told everyone that he had found one but it wouldn't work on there server, so he went to find out why. He soon realised that KorX has a inbuilt hud what isn't too different from the others, but since there was already a hud in there it wouldn't let the bot work. So he half accomplished his object and told the KorX people that there cant be an aimbot.
And that is why there can't be an aimbot in KorX. (p.s true story XD) (P.p.s I did tell them i would try find one and they was all ok with it)

Re: Admin Training
Easiest ways to tell an aimbot:
- Constantly shooting the same spot on an alien
- Twitching to lock on to an alien
- Trailing an alien at the EXACT same distance every shot, and
- Aimbot advertisements!

Kill for the Granger Machine! -King
A game is played in ethereal with Human team locked. The grangers are put in a pen constructed of human force fields and mgturrets, so the grangers cannot leave the arena. If they do, they will get killed by mgturrets.
Either a tournament in which players play 1 on 1 granger battles in order, or an all out death match will occur depending on a poll vote.
The winner's prize is the granger machine, and the ability to abuse administration powers in the next game.
You can win by being the last granger left standing in a death match, or by winning the Granger Tournament.
(Maybe not the ability to abuse adminz. haha. But that might be a good idea, cause then people would actually have something to fight for. xD)
!SWITCH WARS. -King
A game is played in which every admin is converted to level 4, so that everybody can switch with anybody. Once everybody is level 4, a regular tremulous game is played, except for one exception... People can switch with other people at any time during this game. So abusing the !switch command is allowed. To win, a team must simply destroy the other team's structures. The prize of this game is the ability to use the !switch command twice more in the next game. Only twice, any more and it will be considered abuse.

Re: Admin Training
Becoming a better admin: Use common sense. (hypocrtical statement -->) Don't let your emotions run how you admin. Try and see things from another point of view. If someone complains, always investigate before coming to a decision.
As far as aimbots go, yeah, Menace is right. Aimbots can be very obvious, they typically snap to a target and remain on that one spot of their target until the aimbot is dead, or their target is dead. Triggerbots are a bit more... hm. I've heard different things about them, so I can't confirm what's true and what's not. However, I'll just say what I know. Triggerbots activate when a target crosses their crosshair. That's really all I know about that. Like I've said, things change in half a year.

That aimbot in my story i found, you had to hold right click before it did anything. and it only did anything if someone was in 35 degrees of your view.
