Modern warfare two, halo reach and halo 3 are the best.

Gears of War 3, where you need only skill, not just a better level just so you can have a better gun.

GoW 3 has two shotguns and three assault rifles you can start out with, then you have four weapons on map that make things explode, four types of grenades, sometimes a sniper rifle, and three heavy weapons that can kill people without downing them. And everything is balanced. With me, all I need is a retro lancer and a sawed off. I can win in shotgun duels, and if needed, wreck things with the sawed off.

I'm not sure how they're going to reward us for leveling up, aside from giving us medals, but not matter what, it's still going to be based purely on skill without including the whole entire "I'm level 50 and have the best weapons in the multiplayer," gimmick. I'll admit, there's still skill involved with CoD and BF:BC, but half the time, it's just because the other guy has better weapons.

And regarding the one shotgun: It kills people, that's in Gears 1 and 2, and it's used a lot in competitive multiplayer. Why would you need 20 different shotguns that do the same thing? The sawed off and the gnasher in Gears 3 are severely different. How different are the shotguns in Call of Duty? And Halo only has one shotgun... ever question that?

This has me troubled....

Actually, not one video game (that I've played) has made shotguns realistic, did you know that? Soldiers and police officers never use buckshot, they always use a slug.

As for Gears, yeah, there's the shotguns are drastically different. The sawed off you have to be right next to your enemy to one shot kill them, and then there's a 5 second reload time. The gnasher has an 8 round magazine, and can do some damage at a medium distance. I think the reload (with a perfect active reload) is a second.

Yeah... But still.

I wish that they would make reach for 7 already. Then I actually be able to get it.

And by being able to buy it, i mean I'll be able to pirate it and play it free with other people.

And by play it free with other people, i mean try to play it, but then have my computer crash because it's too graphically demanding and i forgot it set the settings to Ultra-low. So yeah...
