The maxverts thing usually has to do with a model, or a formation having much too many vertebrates, and not being supported by the tremulous/quake engine. Anyways, wait for swamp. lol

This may surprise you, but quite a few mature people like immature jokes. My theory: the maturity is a lie.

Besides, this map is different. The one time that qweef showed me this map over skype left me extremely impressed. And besides, I always liked the maps made by noobs more than the maps made by pros. They were always more creative and fun.

My map is based on korx style of play and I believe it will be fun because I made rooms the way id like them to be and elevators that don't kill you when your in the way of its path and I made rooms that weren't impossible to kill. Sure the detailing will suck and im not the best at making maps look amazing but it functions.

Also in this map I got to use my "immature" and "perverted" creativity to better enhance my gaming experience and make me fell like I accomplished something by spending lots and lots of hours on and have something (whether its shitty or not) that I can say I spent the time on making a finished product ...

I don't see you finishing a map menace that you created and had all the ideas for ... from what it seems with yours and swamps maps, swamp did all the creating and you did the bitch work of putting in all the lights and other non creative stuff. Menace come out with your own map that's flawless before flaming on a map you haven't even seen or care to see.

ps. glameow helped me with some parts of the map but I did all the creating and ideas for the map and I designed everything, hes helping me with the compiling and the adding of custom textures ... I gotta give credit where credit is due <3 glameow

I'll go by what I said that only noobs like cannon maps. The original cannon map was not made for gameplay, it was made for tests. I knew its creator, so I know this for a fact. Yes, I'm talking about pushcannon.

Qweef, you don't base a map on a style of play unless you only want it played by that style of play until that style of play is dead. Much like KoRx is now.

YOU think it would be fun. Doesn't say much for how others will see it.

Elevators that crush you if you're in the way of their path are the best! And anyways, they're more realistic. If you don't want people to be crushed, make good elevators, with things preventing people from being squished.

NO room is impossible to kill (not even on UBP servers). End of story. Name one and I'll tell you its weakness. (And I mean name one on any good map. Only impossible rooms to kill are on crappy maps such as nintendo_land_b2.)

You may be enhancing YOUR gaming experience. But have you ever wondered how others would find this map? This will just make people see you as even MORE immature than you already are. I'm not meaning to flame you, I'm just pointing out a fact.

Favorite map ever doesn't mean shit when it's a fucking horrible map. It had horrible gameplay, was horribly made, had the easiest to get to secret room ever, and the worst bases ever. It and cannonmaps are tied for worst shit in Tremulous.

Cannon maps are a whole different style of maps that started from a test map. It's horrible for regular gameplay, but then again, it isn't supposed to be for regular game play. I mean really, if they're so terrible, why are they some of the most popular maps in trem?

It may be true that pushcannon started off as a test map, but what ensued afterwords was a whole new style of playing tremulous. Which is why I think that these maps are not in fact crap, but are, and should be, an inspiration to all map makers to try and give a different experience from any other map.

As for Nintendo land, I'll tell you why that was my favorite map. Unlike nearly every other map out there, this map had awesome graphics. And before you go and say that the graphics were bad, or that they could have used some work, or even that they'll never be as good as a gigantic floating space station in space; there was something different about this map that all other maps can't compare to. It actually means something to me. Unlike all the other generic tremulous maps, this map left the biggest, and the best impression on me as a person. Perhaps it was just that nolgesic feeling of finally walking through korkiri village, or that nice feeling of being back in super mario 64, but it was those feelings that are a true monument to today's culture. Nobody in america is going to say that they've never heard of mario, or zelda (besides the sheltered people of course, but they don't really matter anyways.) Which is mostly true for other countries as well. The type of map that leaves you with a wonderful impression, and a special feeling inside is the greatest map of all.

For that matter GPP is shit. It doesn't leave anything but rage in my head.

Personal preference, why do you have to force yours upon other people. Seriously everything you have an opinion on and the other person doesn't agree with it you force your upon them with reason which may not even be valid for them!

I agree with the secret room on Nintendo Land B2, I like the map but if humans or aliens got in there they are safe for the rest of the game but without that I would give the map an 8/10 for me.

As for cannon maps, I love them (Besides from push cannon, I don't think there's enough there) Treecannon I would play 24/7 if I could.

Cannon maps are only popular because noobs suck at any GOOD maps.

If Nintendo_land_b2 has two good teams, it will be a stalemate. End of story. One team gets Mario House, other gets Metal Room, and they are both invincible. That's why it's a crap map. And then MrFish quit Trem, so it will never become even an OKAY map.

Nintendo land may not be a perfect map. So let's not blame the design. Let's blame the maker.

Besides, fixing nintendo land would be easy with a .map file. All you would have to do is add nobuild areas, so that there would be no telecamping.
