Ideas for GBA Server

Well, I thought of a thread for us to post the idea(s) we want to have on the GBA server. Could be new weapons, new Aliens, Humans etc.
We could even modify some buildings (humans side) so they look like something more familiar but still used for the same thing. (Example: Armoury as a fridge with weapons inside).

Sooo.. Post your ideas here! =)

How about rant looking like this?

Some kind of water alien. Sucks on land, but preforms fantastic in water. Of course it wouldn't run out of air, so you could stay in the water indefinitely, and it would have water specific attacks. It could be balanced out by giving the humans a scuba tank or something.

Another idea, an alien which can take control of a human. It has to be touching the human and hold attack for 10 sec without interruption. It would be hard t use, but once control is gained, the alien player controls the human, and uses its weapons to attack other humans. The infected player just has to watch until it dies. Maybe it could also overtake human structures to refill ammo at.

Vehicles would be nice, but I'm not even sure if it's possible in the engine.

Trust me or not, I though about that too a few days ago, bot forgot about it. Reminds me of WoW.

This would be very hard to program. An easier thing would be an alien that can go inside dead human bodies, or maybe something like the spy from TF2.

Vehicles are impossible on the quake engine.

I don't thnk it would be too awful difficult. Maybe it would be easier if it killed the human in the process, and then automatically evolved into an infected human. The infected human would cost 10 evos (or anything higher than 9) otherwise, so it's never seen on the evolve list.

Well I don't know much about quake engine...
But i know what would be cool!

VISIBLE SPECS!!!

I came up with this idea a while ago, and it seamed to be quite a hit.
Something like a ghost or a probe from halo.
To tell the truth, THAT would be awesome!
I don't know if this is possible, but it sure would add a whole new aspect to the game.
A whole new aspect to spectating.
And it would be a whole lot more fun for those of us who prefer to see people own sometimes.

One problem: Adv. Basi chases would be way too easy.

They're (the basi hunts) really easy anyways.
The adv basi wont have any cloak after booster is gone, so there is no point in saying the chase would be ruined, since the basi would be uncloaked anyway.

But cloaks would present a problem... Couldn't the spec's turn invisible too? If that is too much than maybe the spec could only be seen by the team that it is spectating...
