Weekly server events

I propose a slight mod for Wednesdays called "Wacky Wednesdays"

All human weapons will have 2x the speed and ammo... even cloaks will last 2x longer.

Aliens will have 2x chomp speed, 2x the barbs, and 2x booster and poison length.

this is just a proposal, I want to know what you guys think about this.

I agree. Nuff said.
But maybe a super blaster? Very Happy
Not super strong, but shoots real fast...
Normal for the mod = 3x normal with out mod
Surged for the mod= 4x normal with out mod

Also- Tyrant Thursdays. Takes effect at around 6pm or later (NOT all day, it would get old), Humans gets locked and everybody is a Tyrant for a TK match. You CAN evo to adv. rant.

Gah, i think that will take a lot of preparing for, it took me two days just to find the files and add two claases to it. (I still don't know if they are working)

I'm pretty sure you (Or whoever's doing it) has to change two files. I suppose we will only know on a test game...


Although I would like to say, that I F1'ed this, sounds like a fun idea and I would like to see it in place.

I shall F2 this, Teamkill games are fun, but we've already got a specific map for that and it usually gets boring after thirty mins.

What it should have

1. Be able to change the game type
2. Run on low processing
3. Maybe a remote connection

What it must have

1. To be able to detect if the server is down
2. Restart it if rule 1 passes
3. To be able to keep open itself..

What do you think?

grrrr the server doesn't like the changes... i need to get ahold of the source code for the version of KoRx we are using..

hours of changes for it not to work :'(

The source is easily accessible from the KoRx website.

And we should switch to .32 while we're at it. The only issue (that wasn't shared like vesd) was teleports, and that's fixed.

trying to fix things...

it appears that aaron is going to make a "stage 4".

there are already places in the code referenced to it :3

edit: our 3.2 will have bouncy xael ^^

OK, as long as we keep the xaels I am all for it, and if there are code references to it, that just means slightly less work for us
