Should the 2012 map have different beta's/versions or just be the whole thing done at once?

2012's Progress

As some of you already know, I've been working on a map called 2012 for a few months now. This is a map that includes events at specific times such as Volcano Eruption at 30:00 (Lava rocks comming down to the battle field to kill ya) and Sun crashing down at 50:00 ending everything.

The events are listed here:
*- Machine Thingy [0:00-10:00] There is this one machine hidden somewhere in the map. If you activate it, a black hole will occur 35 minutes after you activate it sucking up everything in the battlefield.
-Train Crash [5:00] The underground metro train crashes. This won't affect anything unless you were in it's way.
-Truck Crash [15:00] A truck comming fast from the west road will come fast and crash into a building. This is to make the battle field a little less open and to watch who gets run over.
*-Tsunami [20:00] A Tsunami will come from the ocean. It may not kill you but it will be annoying.
-Earthquake [25:00] A big earthquake will occur leaving huge and small cracks in the earth. It also opens some secret areas and blocks others.
-Volcano [37:30] The volcano seem from a far away island erupts sending small/big fire rocks to the battle field. This squishes anyone in their path.
*-Forest Fire [40:00] The forest next to human base will go on fire. You lose HP if you go in the forest after this.
*-Alien Special [35:00-45:00] Activating the button inside the crashed spaceship will call other alien spaceships to come to earth and shoot lasers killing anything that touches it. This lasts for 15 seconds.
*-Human Special [35:00-45:00] Activating the button inside the underwater launch station will activate some fighter jets to come down and shoot some missiles. The missiles squish anything in their path (Sorry but I can't make it just kill you). This lasts for as long as until the missiles run out.
*-Alien Special2 [45:00+] This can be activated anytime. The crashed spaceship inside the alien secret base will turn on and 2 Adv. Grangers/Battle Grangers may fit there. The spaceship will go outside and fly out to space waiting for humans to activate their special.
*-Human Special2 [45:00+] This can be activated anytime. The underwater rocket ship will activate letting two humans (Non-bsuits) go in there. The rocket ship will fly out to space waiting for aliens to activate their special.
-Sun Crash [50:00] This ends the whole battle (Or does it?). The Sun Crashes on earth destroying everything. Only the 2 alien and human survivors in space have 5 minutes to kill each other in a sudden death match.

Things with * either: Might not be done in the first version of 2012 or just can't be made possible.

Latest Progress Done:
-Added more barrels
-Redid metro entrance.
-Added vent to secret human base entrance.
-Added secret porn somewhere.

To do list:
-Add hidden items throught the map.
-Find/make the models for those items.
-Finish ONBS building.

The screenshots aren't that good since I took them from radiant but I will take some from trem when I have time.

Sounds awesome, would you be able to like erm, plan a overide for the end of the world to actually save it?

Like you've gotta find parts for eg.

Metal
Wood
Screws
Nuclear Atom
Lead.

And maybe if they dint get the lead it still can work but they forfeit one of there team-mates?

Umm... I can do stuff like that but different stuff for different teams but I don't think it might be a good idea. Should I do so?

And the file size WILL be big. You can expect around 20 Megabytes. It's already 15 Megabytes because I already finished most of the battlefield.
Can Anyone think of a nice skybox?

And a skybox? Why exactly do you need one of those?

I know about the repo (I made it after all) but what about the people downloading it? Won't it take some time? Not everyone has a fast connection.

And the skybox is very important. The map takes place outdoors. I need a nice night-time skybox. If someone makes me three custom skyboxes, I will try to make it seem like it goes from night to day.

I probably have some Really crappy internet it downloads at 500kbps. I think the other people will be all right if it is slower just go do something else from 5 mins? Smile

And Ooh! I see what you mean now. But i don't know much about mapping you'de probably be better looking in Glames direction

These spaces are copies of pieces from other maps as dangercity stole the idea for the city and McGranger is proof of this. As for the Aliens is a database or copied. So far as half or three-quarters of the maps are copies of other particles.

Only the boat (From city-overrun_b1) was completely copied. The McGranger and Georgios have been copied + edited (I had to make them manually too since I barely found out how to decompile BSPs. That makes it 3 things copied amd won't even be 1/17 of the whole map.
