Obvious things that took forever to notice

I'm sure that as you've been playing Trem, you stumble on a new feature, especially with mods like KoRx, and bring it up. Everyone just laughs as you didn't know this was implemented years ago. Well, now you can post these here, hopefully we can all learn a few things.

Here's some things I figured out during my time playing KoRx, that apparently have been around a long time before I knew it.

1. Adv. Dretch can poune, like a dragoon.

2. When adv. friend basi is boosted, humans don't see red lines, I thought it was only completely invisible when motionless

3. Adv rants continue to charge their acid shot as long as they're booster. No need to booster camp.

4. Shotgun secondary fire is a small grenade

5. Pulse rifle shoots shots that slow aliens down

6. Chaingun has a secondary fire, it's just faster.

1. Slow Pulse can trap certain aliens. (I kept blaming a granger for trapping me when I was a marauder)
2. Ckit kills your teammates during ESD. (I learned the hard way)
3. /cl_nodelta 1 stops your lag. (At least for me it does)

LIE!!!

Chaingun main fire: 8 damage per shot, slower
Chaingun secondary fire: 4 damage per shot, faster

In ESD only the main shot heals you when fighting an adv rant.

That some maps: Transit and memorex-final (maybe some others) have the writing. Don't eat the sausae

Your revival of this thread reminded me of some old ones.
You can use telenodes to teleport with Q.
Spitfire actually shoots more times when boosted.
On teamkill maps (real ones), in ESD it heals you to shoot teammates.

This one may not be as obvious, but Hovel told me about a whole set of "/+" stuff that makes you continue doing one thing, like Grangery noises, or shooting.

i love esd as everything is basically backwards. its funny to shoot your team mates and they think that your killing them. Laughing
